The Faculty of Chemsitry has the right to confer the doctor's degree (Ph.D.) and doctor habilitatus degree (D.Sc.) in the fields of organic, inorganic, physical and theoretical chemistry.

areas and specializations offered in the Faculty:
The Faculty of Chemistry offers a few types of education programmes: 5-year M.Sc. degree programmes in Chemistry, Chemistry of the Environment, and Chemistry with Informatics, 3- year lecentiate programmes in Chemical Synthesis and Analysis that can be followed by a two- year complementary programme leading to M.Sc. degree, 4-year postgraduate programme leading to doctor's degree (Ph.D). The Faculty also offers a number of postgraduate courses addressed mainly to high school teachers.
