Administration

The Adam Mickiewicz University administration is organized into appropriate sections supervised by the Director General for Administrative Affairs who is directly responsible to the Rector.
The tasks of the Administration bodies are thoroughly specified in the University Statute.

The University Library

The University Library is one of the largest libraries in the country. It is an important resource centre used by both the Staff and students of AMU. Its collection includes: around 2,700,000 volumes, and annually new acquisitions of selected titles reach about 40,000 copies. The Library also supervises all Faculty and Institute libraries whose overall collections amount to roughly 1,700,000 volumes and are annually supplemented by additional 60,000 volumes.
